Community Projects

We aim to provide a range of community projects that will bring people together in their grief following baby loss. We are always interested to hear from people who may like to start a community project for CRADLE, please get in touch to discuss and idea.

CRADLE PLANT THERAPY

We launched the CRADLE Plant Therapy project in 2019 to provide the opportunity for bereaved parents to plant and grow Sunflowers in memory. We aim to include packets of sunflower seeds to CRADLE Comfort Bags which are donated to women or couples receiving care during or following pregnancy loss in hospital.

CRADLE Plant Therapy is now launched each year on Mothers Day, and supported by our Plant Therapy CRADLE Ambassador Zoe Stanmore, who is also the Community Champion and Cultivation Street Ambassador at Dobbies Garden Centre in Southport.

Zoe hosts the CRADLE Plant Therapy Facebook page, providing tips and advice on planting and growing.

Thank you to Dobbies Garden Stores across the UK, Thompson & Morgan and Mr Fothergills for the donations of sunflower seeds.

Please contact info@cradlecharity.org to arrange a donation.

WORK IT OUT with CRADLE

The WORK IT OUT with CRADLE community group brings together bereaved parents through exercise and wellbeing, to support the journey of grief following pregnancy loss. The group is supported by Trustees Kay Crewdson and Dawn Brown who both have experienced pregnancy loss and use physical exercise to support their emotional wellbeing. All abilities are welcome to join the WORK IT OUT community. Please seek medical advice before exercising following pregnancy loss.
