CRADLE is supported nationally by an incredible team of Volunteers who raise awareness of early pregnancy loss, fundraise, appeal for toiletries and donate CRADLE Comfort Bags to the hospital of their choice, which are made available to women and couples during their hospital care. Many of our ambassadors have themselves experienced pregnancy loss, and offer peer support in the CRADLE early pregnancy loss support group on Facebook.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, and it’s impact on how bereavement care was provided, we saw an increase in demand for CRADLE services to be launched in hospitals across the UK and with this healthcare professionals approaching CRADLE to join our volunteer team. Many of the HCP Volunteers have now set up and run their own CRADLE Services within Hospitals and Clinics across the UK, providing a full CRADLE service as part of their own bereavement service.
